His experience in the sphere of cultural journalism -where he has stood out as a musical connoseur- is reflected in hundreds of features, interviews and artícles produced over two decades. During this period he has interviewed a significant part of the world music elite (David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, Sex Pistols, Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, John Lee Hooker, U2, Prince, Sonic Youth...). Its pointed out his work at El País newspaper, where he has published, edited contents in the suplements Tentaciones and EPS, and contributed regularly in Babelia and El Viajero between 1995-2004.
In the following years his work -more open to subjects as culture and travel- he has published regularly in the suplement Cultura(s) de La Vanguardia and other media like Rock de Lux, Metropoli, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Gentleman, YoDona, Viajes Natiogral Geographic, Altaïr or Marie Claire among others. As reporter in war zones, his articles from Irak, Palestine, Sahara and North Korea (a country he is a specialist in) can be pointed. As travel journalist, his articles on Mexico, Estados Unidos, Chile, Japón, Etiopía, Jamaica, Brasil, Panamá, Japón o Suráfrica among others can be featured.
During his career as journalist he has contributed in Zona de Obras (a magazine he co-directed during 1999-2001), Inrockuptibles, Efe Eme, LaDinamo, Vogue, GQ, Cañamo, Club Cultura, Boronía, Matador, Granta, Batonga, EGM, El Duende, Monográfico, Magazine El Mundo, Asia and Away (China)... His articles have been published in international media, specially newspapers in América Latina: La Reforma (Mexico), Página 12 y Clarín (Argentina), La Folha de Sao Paulo (Brasil), El Día (Chile)...
His experience in television refer him to colaborations in Canal + (Bazar), commentator in musical special shows (TVE) and scriptwriter in documentaries, musical shows and special programmes. He was screenwriter of the music programme “Shhhh...!” (Tesauro/Tele 5, 1997-1998). In radio, he directed and conducted the show “La Noche del Dragon” (Radio Círculo, Madrid, 2002-2004). In internet, he created and edited contents in several sites, and blogged at clubcultura.com and in his own personal page.
